Parking Rader

Hi,

 

I need some help, I have a 2001 Ford Galaxy TDI 115 Ghia with parking rader fitted. When the unit is switched on it flashes, but thats all it does there is no sound coming from the unit.

 

The parking light does however deactivate when 16mph is reached.

 

Does anyone know where the control unit and speakers for the parking rader are kept?

 

Any help would be most appreciated

The light shouldn't flash. I guess this is your Galaxy's way of saying your parking sensor is sick. If you are still under the 3 year warranty I would go back your main dealer.

The speakers for the front and back sensors are in different locations. One is under the passenger seat and I believe the other is at the rear somewhere. Sorry I can't be more specific I'm at work at the moment. I will look it up on my TIS CD tonight unless someone else comes up with the answer before.

The front speaker and control module are under the front passenger seat in the storage cubby hole, the rear speaker and control unit are mounted behind the access panel to the passenger side rear light

:D apparantly they do a plug in for the laser device he uses on his forearm :(
