Gadgetoid Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 (edited) Since some a***hole in an red Golf GTi decided to overtake on a bottleneck section of road and sideswipe my offside, I have had a problem with a flickering xenon on that side. Occasionally that headlight turns off altogether, but will re-ignite immediately if turned off then on again. I was foxed until I saw this TSB intended for VW Touaregs "Technical product informationTransaction No.: 2010938/11Xenon light flickers or goes out sporadicallyRelease date: 03-Jan-2008 Customer statement / workshop findingsXenon light flickers or goes out sporadically. The message Edited March 23, 2010 by Gadgetoid Quote

I'd go with changing the bulb as you have a spare and see how it goes from there. How much damage did the Golf cause? Bloody VW drivers eh? ;) Quote
