gregers Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 phone the dealer up(which stamped the book)and inquire about what history they have on the car if so ask them to send you a print out for your records.i did with mine when i bought and found out they had changed the belt on mine.which saved me a fair bit. billywizzo Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Posted February 27, 2010 In the service book it just says cam belt with mileage and date but no stamp and nothing else was done on that date or mileage, it was in between services according to the book. But the last for services either were not stamped or the stamp cannot be read.It probably has been done but i just would rather be safe than sorry.None of the later stamps can be read so cannot phone anyone.I have had a car that the cam belt went on and it cost a lot more than 370 to fix.I am in surrey near brooklands.Cheers Quote
