phils beast Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 Hi all, recently noticed whilst driving along at 70mph on the motorway then having to slow down to 50mph sometimes the car wobbles as though its being starved of fuel. This only happens sometimes, i've a feeling its the maff on its way out but just wondering if any other member has had same fault and could diagnose? Thanks. 1.9tdi auto ghia 2004 Quote
chromedome Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 Does it feel like the whole car wobbles? It could be dry CV joints which is quite common. Not sure about on de-acceleration though. Quote

The wobble feels as though only 3 cylinders are firing and only happens when run for a while. Strange but it doesn't always happen and only seems noticable at 50mph going through road works. Quote
