Paul1 Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 Was wondering if loss of power to rear fog lights is common? Ive got power to plug in o/s rear corner near toolbox. Was wondering if it might be due too tow bar splice? but that is in n/s corner? Any ideas please? Quote
gregers Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 maybe the wires in the rubber boot as you open hatch.top right corner may be to blame? Quote

Hi Paul Gregers may have a point, but you say you have a towbar ! how is the fog light wired ? it might be wired so when you plug the trailer in, the plug disconects the car fog lights ! Open the shutter on the socket and have a look where the pins are, and you might find a black plastic pin, which when the plug is put in,the pin opens a contact inside the socket(and so switching off the car fog lights) Just a thought as you said it has a socket !
