itserve Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 Ford Galaxy 2.0 TDci 140PS Ghia X I am selling my 2 year 9 month old Ford Galaxy. This is the new model shape and is a great car to drive, very car-like and not like driving a bus despite its size! It is still under manufacturer's warranty until May. It is the Ghia X Pack, which means as well as all of the features normally included in the Ghia it has a full panoramic roof, charcoal grey leather interior with ventilated leather, 17 inch alloy wheels with tyres having plenty of remaining tread. In addition it has fitted climate control front seats, which blow air gently through the ventilated leather and heat or cool with ten settings for each seat. Also fitted as an option is IVDC (Interactive Vehicle Dynamics Control) ,which electronically adjusts the suspension for normal, sporty, or comfort for slow rough lane driving (basically hard, medium or soft suspension settings). We also paid for the Bi-Xenon Active headlights with static bending lights which come on when you corner, really good lighting, super bright and very safe, great turning corners in night-time country lanes/driveways. 6 CD changer and Sony Stereo system. It averages 44 miles to the gallon, but will return over 50 on a steady A road run. Service intervals are every 12,500 miles and being a Ford this is not a particularly expensive experience. Full Ford Service history, including recent recall to refit some air conditioning hoses. We have never had any problems with this car and it is in very good condition and has been well cared for and well maintained - only ever handwashed also. Mileage is 42,326 as of today (January 29th). Next service due is a minor service (oil and filters only) at 50,000 miles. Colour; Sea Grey Metallic. 6 Speed manual gearbox. Aircraft throttle-style handbrake. A very comfortable and well mannered, economical people carrier which cost over Quote
