is that the little red light on the drivers door?

how fast is it flashing?

 

if its only flashing every few seconds then thats the pats/alarm system working as it should,

 

do a search on pats and all will be reviled.

thank you. it is actually on the dash ,where all the warning lights and info is- the "i" with square round it,i went into info on the menu but no messages on there.it just keeps flashing when i lock the car using remote or manually with the key,but if car left unlocked it doesn't flash! Wondering now is this what drained my battery in the first place and what i can do to sort it.

i had a similiar problem , and it seemed like the battery was faulty but it was not, it was the ignition switch (on the other side of the ignition key ) take couling off and undo screw and replace the unit , no probs

if it is a battery problem ( you havent got anything plugged into the aux power sockets ??)
