My Galaxy is a 1996 2.0L GLS

My central locking appears to have partially failed. When I use the key on the passenger door only this door locks. If I use the fob all the doors lock but the flashing LED on the driver

The only suspect part is on the offside rear door. It's the small round sensor.........

What sensor? as far as I'm aware there are no sensors in or on the door! I think your mistakeing the tweeter for a sensor?

if as you say all the doors lock from the remote then the remote receivers and central locking are all ok, I would check the wireing in the door loom and the operation of the micro switches on the passenger door locking motor

the red LED should flash to show the PATS system is operating or that the alarm if fitted is armed, again it could be a wireing problem in the loom! its the most common cause of electrical faults in the doors or rear hatch
