OK so situation was broken spring on offside - don't know how but is caused steering to pull to right and needed replacing. First job was to obtain springs - found on ebay for Quote

Oh God I thought, I'm sure I did everything right - I did!!Thought I'd check strut tops and re- tighten. Now where did I put the Mole Grips??? Ah yes still attached to the other strut - hence the clonking! Lesson learnt - Check your tools when you finish! Quote
Phil Neal Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 i was going to attempt this saturday night, off side one has broke at the bottom. having read this i've just been out too the wheel off and the tray in the engine bay and quite literally drenched it all in wd40 :( here is hoping for an easy fix :S Quote

suzuki91 Posted June 5, 2011 Report Posted June 5, 2011 i have covered the top of the struts with tinfoil to stop the water filling the bowls. have'nt checked them to see if it worked though. Quote
