hello looking for help . can anyone tell me why my galaxy keeps going into safe mode or limp mode (not sure on technical wording sorry ) . can reset by turning ignition off then back on . but doing it more frequent now . pain , thank you john

Theres a million threads about this problem on this forum..... try searching

 

Most likely due to

 

Vacuum leaks in the 5 miles of vacuum pipework. (OK maybe 4 miles)

 

or

 

sticky or worn vane actuator on the Turbo (search forum for pics on how to lubricate/free up a sticky one).

 

or

 

Faulty turbo control solenoid

 

or

 

boost pressure sensor

 

or

 

something else

thanks for reply new turbo was needed it was a worn vane acuator and has caused it to blow bearings into bits should have done months ago now
