HoraceG Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Hi Guys, Some scumbag kicked in my nearisde front sidelight cluster the other week and today is the day to replace it.Got the new one and..... I can see no way of getting the old one out! The new one has two lugs at the bottom with 5mm holes in.There are two tabs at the top which obviously click in and locate.I've managed to lever the top of the old one out (much flying glass!!) but the bottom won't shift. There are two holes in the bottom of the lower fairing but I can see up inside what's there. Is this cluster held on by two screws at the bottom which just need to be undone? Any help, advice and ideas would be greatly appreciated.BTW it's a Zetec TCSI 2009 Quote
edatelder Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 The Mk 2 has two torx screws at the bottom. They are hard to undo. A long torx screwdriver is needed. Quote
chromedome Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Have you tried searching and posting your problem in the MK3 section of the forum? Quote
