Unlocked Doors Open Window Help Needed

Hi

I locked up me galaxy yesterday and i gotta knock on me house door me neighbour telling me me front windows were open , went out the door was unlocked also , i shut the windows n locked the door using the aftermarket remote ( cobra ) 7 hours later same thing happened again , now took battery off and giving it a charge ( as i dont use the galaxy that often now maybe once or twice a month )

 

Anyone have any ideas ?? much appreciated

Sounds like a wiring fault either in the door pillars or check under the passenger seat for your very own swimmingpool. where the module is located

You haven't "sat" on your keys and activated the global unlock have you? Happens to me sometimes...

Sat of my keys ?? Not that i know of

 

checked the wells and the are dry , i have disconected the aftermarket remote locking modul

 

just incase it could be that , as the car is at the ex wifes at the mo i will pop over there later

 

to make sure all is still locked n shut ..

hi there does any1 know why my remote central locking wont work off the key?it works locking and unlocking off the key but not off the buttons off the keyfob.any1 help me please

Gal locked up for a few days no problem then today windows down n unlocked ( bugger ) can anyone point me in the direction of the colour wiring that might need looked at ?

I've no experience with this but, to keep it simple, if you've eliminated spurious operation of the remotes it might be worth giving the manual (key) locking a bit of exercise with a good spray of WD40. If you use remotes exclusively one of the switches might just be sitting half way.

HELP!

 

Son borrowed car forced the petrol filler cap cover and now the central locking is not working at all!

 

Might be unconnected event but as I cannot find a simple fuse for the CL where is it situated please and what are the first checks to make

where is your central locking ecu ?

i had the same problem, soaking wet

if is under the passenger seat try taking it out and drying it out
