Special Tool Steering Wheel Removal

i have a mk2 tdi & need to remove the steering wheel to change the clock spring, any ideas where i can get the special tool required to fit the centre bolt from , ford do not sell tools at all

I wasn't aware that a special tool was required. I haven't taken off a MK2 but the MK1 didn't need a special tool.

 

Anyone else?

You need a 12mm triple square bit (12-point), like this:

yes

no need for high quality snapon stuff tho you will find theese in cheap sets from pound shops just make sure you disconnect car battery several minutes befor you remove airbag better safe than sorry
