postiepat Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 i have a mk2 tdi & need to remove the steering wheel to change the clock spring, any ideas where i can get the special tool required to fit the centre bolt from , ford do not sell tools at all Quote
Bigjeeze Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 I wasn't aware that a special tool was required. I haven't taken off a MK2 but the MK1 didn't need a special tool. Anyone else? Quote
insider Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 You need a 12mm triple square bit (12-point), like this: http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?se...re&tool=all Quote
