Vagcom From Ebay

Hi all

 

Has anyone experience of using VAGCOM lead and software CD from ebay sellers. I have an 02 Galaxy 1.9Tdi and am always having problems with it, so I would like to be able to find and delete fault codes myself.

 

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I've used a cheapo one off ebay on my 98 alhambra. Followed instructions and it connected to car first time. Only problems come with the software - its an old restricted version and isn't clear what some of the values are actually showing and because its a restricted version can only show a few fault codes at a time. Does clear fault codes though, and helped me diagnose a faulty ABS sensor - plus cleared the fault code after. For the price you can't complain! :angry:

Its well worth it.....will save you a lot of time and trouble.
