p10ant Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 (edited) Hi, looking for any ideas as to the fault with the central locking on my 03 alhambra. When locking the car with the remote or key, the N/S rear door lock cycles through locked / unlocked three or four times, sometimes finishing locked, sometimes unlocked?. Door wiring is ok , do I replace the lock?. I've done a search but am still none the wiser. Cheers, Paul T. Edited December 21, 2009 by p10ant Quote

p10ant Posted December 22, 2009 Author Report Posted December 22, 2009 Yes, Wiring is good, it was the first thing I checked, no splits in the insulation, no breaks and all the pin in the plug are good.Cheers, Paul T. Quote
p10ant Posted January 22, 2010 Author Report Posted January 22, 2010 Update for anyone who comes across this problem, it was the motor that was at fault, new motor fitted and all is well again, also the motors are interchangeable with the other doors if you need to check one.Cheers, Paul T. Quote
