Roof Dvd Player

Hi i have a dvd player, for the roof i really wanted to know has any one got fitting instuctions or can tell me if i got to cut a hole out in the lining etc, any help would be appreciated, it is a ford one i think number is 7000 or 7500 thank you guys

I fitted one to mine, it had a sun roof as well, you need a reinforcer above the headlining that goes across the top of the headlining from side to side, there is a bit too much weight for the head lining to take after a while it starts to sag, I made a hole in the middle of the location of the player, just large enough to take the cables feeding it, any other holes required are just small screw holes, when you are finished with the vehicle you can buy a cheap interior light to cover the large hole or use a large trim panel fastener, the small ones blend not too bad

if you had a sun roof there is already a reinforcer bar that passes across the roof just behind the opening this is strong enough to hold most screens in place without sagging :lol:

 

DONT! cut holes in the headlining, cut slits with a sharp knife and pass the cables through these, that way when you come to sell the car and take out the screen you only have these to hide and in most cases they just close up and are hardly noticable ;)
