hi had some work done on car and the battery was disconnected now radio needs code which i have not got any help please many thanks dave

Hi there Did you ever get a reply as the same thing has happened to me and I have no idea what the radio code is . Thanks . Peter

if you go to Ford, they should be able to help you... if not..search the net.. there did used to be someone on here that would help with lost codes.. but usually we dont condone giving out codes on the forum.

Pop the radio out and find the serial number (starts with an M) then PM me it and I'll see what I can be done B)

 

If admin would prefer, include the VIN number of the car and I'll confirm its the one that should be with the vehicle before dishing the code ;)

Dave, when you get the code.....write it on the radio.....saves a lot of trouble.

 

I am assuming Mirez has already helped you with this ( or will do ).

snooper what model do you have,mk1/2/3 but they do come out.

If your radio is the ORIGINAL unit that came with the car then the code should be typed on a label lining the hand hold cutout on the rear tailgate - I thought that was a really clever idea - sadly mine had the code there from the factory but unfortunately the radio had been swapped at some time in the past :D
