Seriously though, there is a small sliding cover in the wheelarch liner just behind the headlamp unit. Simply slide it open (it will be a little stiff), squeeze your hand in until you can feel the bulb holder, twist and remove. The bulb pulls straight out. By the way, the indicator bulb is accessed in a similar way.

You can either take out the the whole headlight unit using a long torx screwdriver or open up the sliding door in the top of the wheel and squeeze your hand in, rotate the plastic bulb holder 90 degrees and pull it out - change bulb - and replace by turning it 90 degrees in the opposite direction.

Use the sliding door in the wheel arch. You either have to turn the wheel to get access or to make it easier take the wheel off. I had to get a spanner on the bulb holder to make it turn. Ford obviously design these to be removed by strongmen midgets

Least its better than my 57 mondeo - I had to remove the whole headlight to change the bulb!

Beginning to think perhaps its better to pay Halfords monkeys to change them - worth a laugh anyway
