gixersteve Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Hi all i have a a 150bhp o5plate manual galaxy on tick over has bad knocking/vibraton. driving there is no knocking or when coasting in neutral no knocking. the knock is intermitant and does not change with the clutch depressed but goes when the engine revs are increased, any ideas could it be the dual mass flwheel. or engine mtgs? if it was the duel mass fly wheel as we all know there is a problem will ford pay towards a replacement. steve Quote
gregers Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 it might be the engine stabilizer bar.open bonnet (engine off)grab hold of engine and try and rock it,if it all flexes really easily then thats what it could be,do a search on here for it. Quote

With a name like yours, i would say your Suzuki GSXR (is it a 600,750 or 1000?) 150bhp Galaxy? So what are they like? That will be my choice as the next car (plus a motorbike!!), when the current one is due for a change. Anyway back to your problem - sounds like the engine mount as gregers says. Quote
