Guest Bri Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 I have bought a Tow bar from Towsure, It came with the standard electrics, however, the instructions say that they are not suitable if a bulb failure system is fitted. I was told to look for the towing socket inside right compartment (where jack is located) if it has not got a socket then a bypass relay will be required. It has not got a socket fitted so I guess I need the relay. However, has the Ghia got Brake/tail light (3 way) or all road lights (6 way) system. Why is nothing ever easy!!! Quote
Guest emjay Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 I have yet to get to the bottom of my Towbar electrics, no-one seems to be able to give me a direct answer to the question of the wiring - especially the tow bar indicator factory fitted in the cockpit, some say that it can be enabled (with diagnostics) by the dealer but they deny it??, does anyone know?? - '97 V6 Si Quote
