Hi all.....

I have a 2007 1.8 TDCi 125 6 speed and have never change the pollen filter.... how often should this filter be changed and where is it located and how do you do it.

Have found very usefull thread from seatkid for the Mk 1 and Mk 11 galaxy but unfortunately none for the Mk111.

Thanks

I don't belive I traded my Toyota Avensis for a Ford bucket of S**T. I really miss my TOYOTA.

Due to the nature and purpose of the pollen filter, i would personally change the filter every 12 months.

Something i found on the internet, so therefore, i cannot/will not take responsiblity for the inaccuracy/discrepencies. :o

"Fitting Instructions

Where is the pollen filter?

centre - passenger side behind centre consule

Time to change - approx. 20 minutes

Fitting Stage 1:-

Remove the centre consule side panel in the passenger footwell. You may need to peel back the carpet slightly to gain less retricted access to the area behind the centre consule where the filter housing is.

Fitting Stage 2:-

The filter housing has a plastic rectangular access plate secured by screw at the bottom. You may need to partially disassemble ant duct components that obstruct access to this access plate. Once the plate is off the old filter should slide out easily

Fitting Stage 3:-

Once the plate is off the old filter should slide out easily, as it is designed with a flexible frame allowing it to bend round other components. Fit the new filter and refit the access plate and trim"

Hope it helps.
