I take it that when you mean "pulling of the drive in the morning" - the car has been sitting all night? If so, all the oil will be cold and sitting at the bottom, once up to a reasonable temperature and running, the oil will have had time to circulate and change gears as normal.My initial thought went to low level oil in the gearbox. Rather than top-it up, change the fluid as i expect that in the lifetime of the car this has not been done. Quote

Plus it is intermitent even on the cold morninigs. Quote
