Essex Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Wonder if anyone has encountered this. Was driving along on the motorway and noticed my speedometer (needle) appearing to be stuck at 90mph although l was not doing that speed. Stopped for fuel at the services needle went to zero however when starting the car up l noticed that the speedometer actually went anti-clockwise straight to 90 and didn't move no matter how fast or slow l went. You help and advice if very much welcome Thankyou Quote

You help and advice if very much welcome Thankyou Assuming you have a 2.8 petrol, you can test the instrument panel via VAG-COM, I tested mine the other day, it was quite amusing watching the speedo go from 0-150mph in approx 3 seconds lol, you can also recalibrate all the dials on the instrument panel via VAG-COM. But if you've not got a VW based engine VAG-COM is no good to you RegardsMike Quote
