Allymo Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Hi, I am new to the forum and have just purchased an 06 Galaxy 2.0 TDCI Ghia with 75000 miles on the clock. I really like the car apart from a very annoying vibration through the steering wheel and pedals (even at low speeds). The dual mass flywheel and clutch have just been replaced and the front tyres have been balanced, so these should not be the source of the problem. Has anyone else had this issue or have any ideas what would sort it? Many thanks,Ally Quote
lvgal Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Ally I've got a 10 plate 2.0 TDCI with just 4500 miles and the same vibration issue. It is only mild but can be felt at all speeds through the pedals, wheel and gear lever. I can just about detect it through the floor too, but alas the garage could not fault it. They balanced the wheels, but I knew that would not change it. It is not too bad for short distances but on long runs I tend to develop a hatred for all things ford! I thought it might be transmission/drive shaft related but the ford dealer said it was unlikely. Good luck with yours and if you do get an answer remember to post it here..please. Quote
