blabla123 Posted October 22, 2009 Author Report Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) theres no live feed to the headlights when i put a live feed to the bulb it works ? Edited October 22, 2009 by abz123 Quote
chromedome Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 I would suspect the actual light switch or a relay. Perhaps someone on the forum can confirm if a relay is used and if so what number it is. Quote
Saif Rehman Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Hi,I have a MK2 but I also have a MK1 handbook which states that relay 13 is for the lights. The relay is in the central fuse box under the instrument panel.Hope it helps. Quote
Al J Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 I had a similar problem on a P reg 2.0. The problem was with the wiring behind the fuse holder assembly. Mine was the nearside light not illuminating. 'Gently' pushing at the looms behind kept it lit for a while but in the end it took a local mechanic the best part of a day to fix it. It seemed to be quite a common occurence in vehicles with only one headlight working. Quote
