Driver's Door Window Rattle

having problem with driver's door window which rattles a lot(1999 Gal TDi)..........can anyone help? (might need instructions/pics for removing door card.

The window glass is clamped at the bottom with two metal clamps which have a rubber protective piece between the glass and metal. These rubber pieces have been known to fall out causing the glass to contact the metal and rattle.

There are instructions (probably in the FAQ) on how to remove the door card.

also could be.

does the rattle suside if the window is open slightly.

 

there is a bolt that hold the window mech at the bottom both of mine came loose and rattled.

unfortunatly it is a door card off job, but it is easy enough to do
