llaurencebenjaminmartin Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 Hi, Got a Ford Galaxy diesel , 1999. Had a knocking noise when going over bumps. Spent fortune changing front suspension and the rubber bungs on top of suspension. However noise in footwell still there, when going over bumps. Garage no idea what it could be. The noise seems to come from the drivers footwell, especially when going over bumps. A kind of knocking noise, likeyou would have thought needed new suspension. Has anyone an idea, or do I have to wait for something to drop off. Thanks Laurence Quote
jkspoff Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 I take it you've changed the obvious drop links that always fail on the Galaxies then ? Quote

jkspoff Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 The drop links are DIY and cost hardly anything to replace, the thought that it might be these after you've spent hundreds on the suspension is worrying ! Quote
gregers Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 if it turns out to be these which iirc cost about Quote
