I was browsing the Galaxy section on E bay looking to see if anyone sold a glow plug for the aux heater when I came across an auction for a brand new complete heater ( for a MK1). I put in a max bid of

NICE 1.not often you can get a serious bargain like that,perhaps if the seller had given it at least until the end of september he might of seen some decent profit. ;)

 

ive even seen the little exhaust go for nearly 30 quid alone.

Blimey, Glad I didn't bid now as it would have been against you! They wern't able to tell me if it was a 3K or 5K unit so I didn't bother bidding but I did watch it close nad was amazed that no one bid - Congratulations!

Thanks for not biddiing Mirez!! I have both a Mk1 & a MK2 so I thought go for it!!

 

Can't wait to see what happens when a MK2 heater comes up!

I will now replace my Missus's heater then refurb her old one.

 

One very happy BJ :lol:

 

Lets see how happy he is when he tries to get the bolts out :lol:

What bolts? It's a complete new heater - All I need to do is to remove the old heater ( bolts in that are regularly removed and greased) and replace with the new one - No messing about with the bolts trying to get into the casing to change the glow plug for me!!! Just swap a few hoses around and Bob's your uncle!!
