C-max Sat-nav With Tmc

Hi,

 

Have any of you with the CMAX sat nav got the RDS-TMC working. If so, can you let me know if it is on the 'AA' software or the 'AB' software ?

The TMC should work on any disc, i was on the M8 on Saturday on my way down to London and it worked a treat. If you check your inbox i've replied to the Email you sent on Sunday.

Got your email and will be speaking to them soon. When you used the TMC what station were you tuned to ? I have tried all the stations (albeit quickly skimming through them, waiting for the RDS name to appear), but never got the TMC icon appearing on the screen.

Hopefully young Eric has sorted you out. The TMC should work indy of the station you are listerning too. I have been through all teh stations on teh TMC set up and it appears that only Classic FM carries the signal. Once it has found Classic you should hit AUTO and default and that should remeber it.

 

What version of the Disc do you have? Mine is still AA, eEric now has AB (lcuky git) and I am waiting for my AB to arrive.

Yip apparently Classic FM is the only station in the UK that carries the signal.

 

I have noticed more POI icons which appear on screen (still have to find out what they are though) and lots more new roads (albeit local) there
