OK, before i ask the question i know the answer from many of you would be "i'd do it myself"

Unfortunately i a not competent to do the job myself so i will need to go to a garage

Basically the Brake pad wear indicator has come on for the front pads at around 70k (first change)

Go to local Ford 'rapid fit' centre, as they use genuine Ford parts and will match any other quote.

In My experience I have found Kwik fit like to add little extras, when the vehicle is on the ramps, things like sorry Sir/Madam your disc are far too worn and need replacing, if you don't have them replaced at the same time of fitting the pads then sorry we cannot give you a guarantee.

I'm sure any independent/small garage will be hell of alot cheaper than Frauds or the cowboys at Kwit-Fit - and pre-warn anyone you go to that not to use the sills as jacking points.
