I'm looking to replace the velour seats on my 1997 Alhambra with a leather set from either another Mk 1 Bammy, Galaxy or Sharan. Anybody able to help or point me in the right direction? I was winning an E-bay auction yesterday for a full set of grey Galaxy seats but the seller pulled the auction with less than 24 hours to go for no obvious reason. I'm WELL miffed!! :)

Cheers all.

These are very hard and rare to come by, more so for the mk2 that I've got. Been looking for a set for a couple of years now but still not find any decent ones. I think the only option is to get the existing seats professionally retrimmed.

jkspoff, i, also have been looking to get leather seats for my car and i've seen this on ebay. I noticed he sells quite a few sets for other makes and models but the last Galaxy lot went for stupid money. I suppose that's auctions for you - i gonna bide my time and maybe get a deal when he keeps relisting them.

I, also noticed his description stating that they should be professionally fitted as the original panels will need to come off, not just a matter of sliding these ones over the existing seat.

P.S Looks like the leather for doors cards are supplied too.

Thanks for the link, they look excellent, I wonder who fits them professionally, as I don't fancy trying it myself. Are they called car retrimmers or something ?

Generally they are called 'Car & Vehicle Upholsterer's' - i have noticed that the link i supplied earlier, the seller ended the listing early with the top bid sitting at

I know, I emailed him to see if he had any more, he replied and said no unfortunately. I suspect he took an out of ebay price for them, as there was no buy it now price listed.
