Hi...newbie here..bought my Galaxy 1.9TDI Ghia last December.

I don't have a manual for the car.

The problem I need help with may sound stupid but I removed the right side very rear passenger seat for more room on holiday..it was dark when I removed it (just pulled a few levers) and now I can't get it back in!!!

I can get the front to hook up..but not stay there but the rear catch is kind of folded down.

Have I removed it incorrectly?

Any (simple!) help would be appreciated!

Cheers!

Jase

Plug the front in ( you may have to squeeze the bars behind it ...its obvious ) also you may have to slide your middle seats forward to make it easier.

As you push the back of the seat to the floor ( be brutal ! ) the rear mounting will move into position to engage the brackets in the floor.

If in doubt try looking at any of the other rear or middle seats.

Yep, brilliant advice - i had exactly the same problem when i first got my car, i was forever running to my brothers who had a Galaxy to help/show me hows its done.

So just to reiterate what Kev said:

1. Move the middle sits forward.

2. Tilt the seat to be fixed forward pivoting on the bracket on the floor pressing the bars together behind the seat until it clicks into place.

3. Then slam the seat down so the back hook catches the rear bracket.
