strataman Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 What's with the perforated leather? Why can't we have non perforated leather? What's it like to clean? Does it wear well? It is widespread among car manufacturers, basically because it is supposed to allow the air circulate better when you sit for a long period or when it is too warm, and of course it looks better (you do see the effect of streching the leather) I personally have it for almost 3 years, sometimes when I tried to police it or clean it I had a hard time, because whatever comes in (like biscuit parts from kids) its hard to remove. Nevertheless, I would not say that it is a problem, I only feel somehow dissapointed becauce Ford decided to put leather only in the facet and not allaround (the back of the seat is obviously not leather, but the side is leatherlike plastic...) If you want non perforated I am afraid that you have to look for an aftermarket one. Quote
