Which Oil?

Could any tell me which is the correct oil for my 2005 Galaxy TDI 130? I'm getting confused by the talk of PD engines and variable interval servicing.

 

I don't know what oil has been used before but it has been serviced 6 times by a Ford dealer prior to me buying it (and yes, it's still going!!).

For a PD engine the oil must be to VW Spec 505.01 or greater.

what that your ignorant? I wouldnt think so unless your well known? :huh: but yes the oil spec will be listed on the bottle

 

or on the manufacturers spec sheet for the oil ...

Your local motor factor / shop should have a few types. Comma make a "Diesel PD" oil that is quite a good price.
