smitch Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Could any tell me which is the correct oil for my 2005 Galaxy TDI 130? I'm getting confused by the talk of PD engines and variable interval servicing. I don't know what oil has been used before but it has been serviced 6 times by a Ford dealer prior to me buying it (and yes, it's still going!!). Thanks Quote

chromedome Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 For a PD engine the oil must be to VW Spec 505.01 or greater. Quote

edatelder Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Your local motor factor / shop should have a few types. Comma make a "Diesel PD" oil that is quite a good price. Quote
