Hi All....I am new to this forum but have read all the posts I could find on my problem.....I have a MK1 Galaxy The problem is the wipers will work for a couple of mins then stop........at various positions up the screen......after a while they will park......I have changed the motor and the linkage has been well greased.....I suspect a problen in the control box....ie relay or something.......This is a 51 reg car but ford tell me it was made in 2000... the wiper motor has the five pin plug......

 

Any ideas would be appreciated........Henry

I am going into the garden to eat worms.......I ran the wipers for a short while and felt the right hand mounting spindle.....it was vert hot....silly me....stripped the whole linkage off and after some trouble getting the spindles out of both sides....I regreased as per various posts.....great fun getting the linkage and the tray below the wipers back...but all is well.....Have a spare motor....any offers...Henry
