Hi all

I have read the previous posts on electric window problems and have come to the conclusion that its a faulty switch as the window works fine off the drivers switch but nothing off the passenger switch. My question is, How do you get the old switch out and replace it?. Im hoping that i dont need to take the whole door panel off.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Regards

" you need to push the trim plate they are located in towards the front of the car and lift the rear of the plate out of the door, the switch plate is held in place by a couple of lugs, the front lugs are made so that the plate will slide forward allowing the rear lugs to disengage

"

Copied from the FAQ link below.

hi simon... if i remember rightly when i changed my passenger switch... just prise it out of its housing very gently with a flat bladed screwdriver... when u've changed the switch just push back into housing after having tested that it works first!! saves u the job of getting it back out if it doesnt work... hope this helps
