RICHARD78 Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 (edited) I have been checking over our recently purchased 1999 2.3 auto, only one of the accessory sockets in the boot has power to it, I have checked the plug behind the socket and no power either, Fuse 33 is not blown, however when I remove the fuse there is still power to one socket, any ideas if these get power from elsewhere? ThanksRichard Edited August 2, 2009 by RICHARD78 Quote
big_kev Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 (edited) You could try Fuse 35 ( top left in fuse box) or Fuses, 76,77 &78 ( under drivers seat ). Depends on your build date. Edited August 2, 2009 by big_kev Quote
RICHARD78 Posted August 2, 2009 Author Report Posted August 2, 2009 Thanks for reply, Having looked in handbook and a few posts on here, it looks like the fuses under the drivers seat are favourite, anyone know where abouts they are under seat,front/back, left/right? Think im going to have to unbolt the seat to find them otherwise! Thanks Richard You could try Fuse 35 ( top left in fuse box) or Fuses, 76,77 &78 ( under drivers seat ). Depends on your build date. seatkid Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 Under the drivers seat, just move the seat forward and unclip the floor cover (carpet type material) down behind. Quote
pentaxman Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 My 1996 has the box you are looking for under the passenger seat Quote
