seatkid Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 1. Bulbs do go, but may be related to 2. 2. Check tailgate loom at rubber gaiters for breaks in wires - common problem 3. Join the club 4. You have to remove the scuttle tray and have an appropriate container (with spout) - However, if brake fluid is low, you may well find its time to change brake pads.......(or you have a leaking clutch slave cylinder) 5. Turn radio up 6. Is the undertray missing or the towing eye cover not fitted? (diesel engines) Quote

big_kev Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 3=cc given up the ghost......If you have a diesel its most probably the brake or clutch switch sticking or faulty....cc on diesels is easy to fix. 4=fill up the brake fliud .......your wife/girlfriend will most likely have small hands and may wish to help you...or failing that a small boy ( whichever is easiest to instruct) 5=squealing heater motor.....Rip out glove box and have a look....easy peasy 6=squealing belt under bonnet (in rain only)...That's because most likely either your undershield is missing or your cover from your towing eye is missing......don't worry it will stop squealing soon.....This needs looking at now ! seatkid Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 cc = climate control or cruise control? 4=fill up the brake fliud .......your wife/girlfriend will most likely have small hands and may wish to help you...or failing that a small boy ( whichever is easiest to instruct)Either will do if you dont mind them spilling the fluid over their hands and all over your engine bay/ bodywork. I personally think Big Kev has a slightly old fashioned view of women and children. I wouldnt be surprised if he still sends his children up the chimney to clean it. :D 5=squealing heater motor.....Rip out glove box and have a look....easy peasyThen after staring at it for several minutes.....turn the radio up instead...... :D Quote
big_kev Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 cc = climate control or cruise control? Good point....assumed it was cruise control.....I know assumptions are dangerous.. :D I personally think Big Kev has a slightly old fashioned view of women and children. I wouldnt be surprised if he still sends his children up the chimney to clean it. :D Er,...No.....I have Grandchildren now :D Quote
