Firstly, apologies if I am being a muppet here. I have just got my new galaxy fitted with the 7'' touch screen dvd nav system. The question I have is to do with turning the stereo bit of the system off. So far it seems that if I want the climate control on and/or the sat nav on, then I have to have the radio/cd/aux on. Is there anyway to mute the system without having to revert to using the volume knob?

Unfortunately you must have it on, you can go into the settings and adjust the audio settings to mute the radio, what i do is press the aux button and not turn the ipod on, then its quiet in the car and just the sat nav and phone works.

I hope your system works well, mines been a pain for 14 months now and fords are still trying to fix it. when it works its great and when it doesnt i get loads of funny things happen!
