mk2vr6 Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 check the condition of the seal on the cap? these are known to fail, twist, tear and bunch up allowing hot coolant under pressure to leak by the seal Quote

sparky Paul Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 There's a relief valve in the cap which should stay closed under normal conditions, it sounds like yours may have failed. Replace the cap with a new one, this should fix your problem. :D Quote
