firedwl Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 does anyone know if heated fronts seats are fitted but are just not connected, or would you have to try and get your hands on different sats etc. Quote
Guest mrtonywade Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 you will have to buy a set of front seats with the heater built in, pull the blank plugs out where the heater switches go(first) and have a good look around. if the plugs for the switches are there, then there be on the other end(that connects to the seat) Quote
Dally Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 mrtonywade Assume the worst! In my 2003 V6 there was no loom for dvd set up. There is no loom for an auto dimming rear view mirror. There is no loom for rear electric quarter lights...... You'd have thought it be cheaper for them to fit a full loom with bits blanked off than to have different looms depending on options chosen. Will never understand Ford (or VW) logic. Quote
Guest nimrod Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 When I pull my Galaxy apart I quite often find the odd extra plug tucked away! waiting to connected to something on a higher specced car! when I added the front fog lights all the wires were there tucked away and the relay was in place as well  IIRC later Galaxy's have the loom fitted specific to their spec so if heated seat were not an option on your car then chances are the connectors for the seats are not there ;) Quote
