hi all, my remote key has stopped working but it's not the batteries, dose anyone know if there is another test or is it totally given up the ghost.

if so any ideas. thanks tony

some poeple have had problems with water under passenger seat where the receiver is for central locking

it might be a broken pcb board,iirc someone on here found this to be there problem or it could be a dry solder on the board.

hi tony have you synchronising your key as per page 108-109 of the owners giude cheers peter

Just a good light, a magnifying glass, a hot fine tipped soldering iron, some good quality fine multicore solder and a lot of care I'm afraid.

 

It is worth focussing your attention on anything that may be subject to a bit of stress/movement like battery connections and button connections.
