raymond2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 HI ALL IM NEW TO THIS FORUM, I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY 2004 FORD GALAXY 1.9TDI, WHILE DRIVING THERE IS A BEARING LIKE NOISE (RUMBLING FROM THE BACK), BUT WHEN I JACK THE CAR UP AND SPIN THE WHEEL I GET A GRINDING TYPE NOISE AS IF THE PADS WERE LOW AND RUBBING. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. THANKS IN ADVANCE RAMOND.... Quote

gregers Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 could be,you could jack the car up spin the wheel and put your ear as close as possible to hear the grauncing noise or iirc good old fashioned mechanics used to use a stethoscope to listen for these sort of things. Quote
