AMacdonald Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 My Alhambra decided to go lame today. Symptoms are revs freely out of gear but lacks torque and struggles up hills. Subjectively, it feels normal up to about 1500-180 revs in gear but very limp above that. It did the same thing a couple of months ago so I changed the MAF at the roadside(always keep a new one in the boot after a failure in france) but that didn't help. The fault suddenly cleared itself a few miles after changing the MAF that time but it seems stickier this time. A new MAF hasn't helped and I've disconnected the battery for a bit in case of an electronic glitch. In both cases the car was running normally beforehand, I parked up for a bit, restarted and it was there from the restart. Can anyone suggest anything?ThanksAngus Quote
