PAUL 123 Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 My fan switches on almost immediatly no matter the temperature any ideas Quote
insider Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 Faulty temperature switch? How long have you had the car? Perhaps a previous owner shorted the switch together so the fan comes on to hide an underlying overheating problem? If you can give as much detail as possible about the car - engine type, when the problem started, etc. then someone should be able to help more constructively. Quote

insider Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 Is the A/C on? The fan usually switches on whenever the A/C is switched on. If so, trying switching the A/C off and see if the fan goes off too. Quote
