brush2805 Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 Still in the market for a MKIII Galaxy. I'm probably going to go for a used vehicle. Like most people I'll be buying this because of a growing family. I've never had a DVD player in any car I've owned before. I've got a few questions which I was wondering if people could give me their views on. How practical is it to fit your own system to a MarkIII Ghia? Is any of the wiring already in the vehicle? I assume to fit the headrests with the inbuilt screen some wiring comes through the seats, which would not be there to use? How good is the factory fitted system? I guess that the passengers in the third row seats can't see the screens in the headrests? So is it better to try and fit and overhead drop down screeen? Is the factory fitted option good? What experience do people have with it? Is it reliable? Quote
