Ford Galaxy 1999 Wiring - Help Needed

Hi,

 

I'm in the middle of fitting a towbar to my galaxy but can't find a wiring diagram anywhere to tell me which wire is which in the back by the lights. Anybody know what wire is what or where I can see a diagram online?

you need a circuit tester, then use the 7 pin socket wiring diagram available all over the internet

connect up each circuit in turn, you are supposed to have a warning light that flashes only when the trailer is connected and working, another way is to get an in line buzzer that is wired in line with the flasher circuits to the tow bar, when the trailer is drawing power the buzzer makes a noise

You'll also need an isolation relay from towsure otherwise the bulb failure circuitry will light up like Vegas
