checked few things this morning

ie fan blades and surprisingly they work as should on clutch

but have noticed two things

1 noise sounds like (bag of spanners) eg. pully clutch seized

2 no battery light on tick over (me thinks cos no load on alty)

but rev or drive and light stays on for two seconds then off for three then on for 2 and so on till you stop and engine on tick over again then no light till you drive again then its back to the above sequence

 

does this pattern point to a particular problem in the alternator??? :P :lol:
