can anyone help?? . I have just recently purchased a 1996 galaxy and am having trouble with the locking. It will lock all doors apart from the passenger front, and the same when opening. At the moment it will only unlock from the passenger door and not lock, and even when it does unlock it doesn't always unlock the rest of the doors. If anyone can shed some light on the problem or has a wiring diagram for the locking system in that door , i would be very grateful.

Thanks Kookai.

Common cause of problems with the central locking on the early models is damp in the central locking ecu! its under the front passenger seat in the storage bin

it gets wet from either the rear washer pipe joint bursting or the scuttle drains blocking and flooding the car through the pollen filter and heater system! or the cables in the wiring loom to the doors break! with all the opening and closeing of the door the cable harden and crack causing all sorts of problems with either the locks or the windows :D

I could go but it may be quicker for you to do a search on the topic, it has been covered more than a few times! good luck in you endevour to find and fix the fault, oh nearly forgot welcome to the site :D
