Hi all

The cental locking wont operate by the key for my galaxy ghia Ive changed the battery and is still the same, if you use the lock it all fine any ideas?

Also which fuse handles this in the car? Ive checked them all and they appear ok what number fuse is it?

Also my offside side lights fuse keeps blowing as soon as you switch them on? again any ideas?

The rear electric windows switch has stopped, it works from the front front however?

Any ideas gratefully recieved

hi i would say the window is due to the switch in the back, the central locking, if all the fuses are ok it wont be a fuse you may need to reprogram the remote to the car, if your bulb keeps blowing then there is a short somewhere which you will need to trace back to the fault

Keyfob failure is pretty common - sometimes if you take the fob apart (make sure the PATS chip doesnt fall out!!! - do it on a table where any bits arel easy to retrieve), clean the battery contacts and it will work, but more often than not it just doesnt. Mine has gone that way as several other members. BTW there are 2 batteries in the fob.

Rear window heater probably due to broken wires in the rubber gaiter to the tailgate - common problem see faq

Have you changed any bulbs recently. Maybe they are incorrectly fitted.
